Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience.

Many people I work with tell me… they are seeking therapy for the first time, and many of them experience shame from family members about starting their path to recovery.

Being the first in your family or circle of friends to pursue mental health treatment can be intimidating. The process may feel overwhelming, but you don't have to go through it alone.

I understand the importance of working with a mental health professional who possesses expertise in their field and demonstrates compassion for individuals from first-generation backgrounds. I am here to provide knowledgeable and supportive guidance. Working with me will help you feel confident in your decision to seek help and implement meaningful change.

At Seneca Counseling and Consulting, I offer a safe and supportive environment to help you navigate challenging experiences and take meaningful steps toward change.

Change can be beautiful and rewarding. Most importantly, it can help you find your true self and feel joyful with the world and relationships that surround you.

I provide counseling for people who are ready for change, hoping to improve their circumstances, struggles, mental health, and overall well-being.

I’m available to meet in person in Houston, Texas, or via Telehealth throughout Texas.

I believe in developing a therapeutic alliance that is authentic and whole-hearted.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices promoting holistic growth and healing. I approach the healing journey by blending traditional talk therapy with mind-body interventions

With a focus in Internal Family Systems, I see the mind as a community of internal parts, each with its function and purpose, working together to influence behavior and emotions. The therapeutic process involves understanding and harmonizing these parts to promote healing and well-being.

Our work together will allow you to safely explore your challenges, stress, anxiety, and fears while experiencing the freedom of new perspectives and ideas.

Teens, adults, and families will be to:

  • Navigate wounded or burdened parts to heal. This may involve understanding emotions' origins and releasing their burdens.

  • Explore and understand how various parts of the mind have unique thoughts, feelings, and motivations. These parts can be protective, wounded, or carry different roles.

  • Develop Self-leadership to strengthen their "Self," which is considered the core, undamaged, and compassionate aspect within. This Self has the ability to lead and harmonize all parts of the mind.

Holistically healing body, mind, and spirit

Taking mental health care beyond its limits

I believe in providing experiential mind-body interventions that help people in my care improve their mindfulness skills and further their emotional regulation abilities.

Individuals, couples, and families who are curious about complimenting their therapy work with yoga asana and meditation can embody the principles of balance, stamina, and focus. Integrating these mindful practices fosters a more comprehensive and embodied healing experience.

The values that guide my authentic and whole-hearted therapeutic alliance with you.

My values guide me as I embark on a healing journey with every individual who comes into my care. I foster connection through a warm, non-judgmental, and relational approach, integrating mind, body, and spiritual interventions as required and welcomed.

  • Compassion. Kindness and empathy are for everyone. I  believe in the power of building genuine and caring connections. I understand that each person’s healing journey is unique, and I approach every individual with the warmth and understanding they deserve.

  • Courage.  Courage is the spark that ignites the journey towards self-discovery and healing. Taking that first step can sometimes be daunting, but I commend your bravery in seeking support. Courage is celebrated, and I honor the strength it represents.

  • Balance. In the midst of life’s complexities, I hold balance as a fundamental principle in our therapeutic approach. Achieving balance is a continuous journey. I aim to help you find the delicate balance between self-discovery and acceptance, challenge and support, and growth and harmony.

  • Honesty & Trust. The therapeutic relationship is built on trust and honesty through safety and confidentiality. Authentic self-expression and vulnerability are catalysts for profound growth. My commitment to honesty ensures that your experiences are met with genuine understanding, fostering an environment where trust can take root and flourish. Your truth is honored, and a trusting partnership is cultivated.

  • Openness. I value flexibility, imagination, and curiosity. Exposure to new experiences and concepts allows the therapeutic relationship to continue to flourish and grow. My commitment to openness creates a space where you can share your story without judgment and discover new perspectives. Together, we navigate the landscape of your emotions and experiences, fostering a culture of openness that paves the way for personal evolution.
